Can You See The Future of Your Business?

I can see the future.

No, even though I live in Jerusalem, I’m not a religious fanatic nor do I think I have the gift of prophecy.

When I was 27 years old, I started my own company. I had studied and worked in graphic design and began taking on freelance clients with the encouragement of my boss who ran a small publishing house. I worked in print, multimedia (which was all the rage back then) and this new thing called the Internet.

Two years later I realized that print was going digital, multi-media was very complex and was beginning to get outsourced to India and the Web was very creative, new and exciting. So in 1996 I made the decision to focus on this new frontier – the Internet – the future.

I am a dreamer.

Yes, this is why I live in Jerusalem. I dream of a better future for my children, but that is not what this post is about.

After 20 years of having my own business, I have become a realist. I have helped many small businesses along the way and I have learned from some wonderful teachers.

I continue to learn and I continue to help.

There are certain truths that I have seen reoccur as people try to fulfill their dreams in business. Along the way I have picked up many tools and skills which I enjoy sharing with my clients. These tools offer an opportunity to protect yourself from risk and to define and focus on your dreams.

I’m in the business of helping people. It happens that I often help people through my understanding of business, marketing and technology.

I can see the future because I am helping to create it.

The first step in creating the future is to see it.
